Audiolab has introduced the 6000A MKII, an updated version of its acclaimed 6000A integrated amplifier. Retaining the original's 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms and Class A/B design, the MkII features an upgraded toroidal output transformer and power supply for enhanced bass control and clarity. The digital section now incorporates the latest 32-bit ES9038Q2M ESS Sabre DAC, aligning it with higher-end models like the 7000A. Connectivity improvements include two TOSLINK optical inputs, two S/PDIF coaxial digital inputs, and a new HDMI ARC connection for seamless integration with TVs. Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD support is also added. The phono stage has been refined for reduced noise, and the preamplifier section's layout is optimized to minimize interference.
