About Canton

Canton was founded in 1972 in Hesse by four people from the German audio trade and grew into one of Germany home-grown speaker giants, with a research and development operation that develops its own drivers. The house sound is deliberately even-handed rather than characterful, which is the German market preference.

Four men from the German hi-fi trade, whose initials are not the source of the name - the Latin is.

Notable models: Ergo, Vento, Reference series, Smart soundbars.
