About Dual

Dual grew out of the Steidinger brothers' precision-parts workshop in St. Georgen, and by the 1960s and 70s it was one of the largest turntable makers in Europe. The original company did not survive the collapse of the German consumer-electronics industry, and the name has since been used under licence by several firms; in North America it belongs to Dual Electronics, which sells car, marine and home audio under it.

In the US the Dual name is used by Dual Electronics Corp (Namsung America), of Heathrow, Florida, for car, marine and home audio, including the Heritage soundbars.

Notable models: CS-series turntables, Heritage DHT-2 Solide One soundbar.
