About PS Audio

PS Audio began in 1973 with a phono stage built by two people in California and has been through several eras since. Its most distinctive product line is the PowerPlant, which does not filter incoming mains but regenerates it - takes the AC in, converts it to DC, and builds a new clean sine wave from scratch. The company moved to Boulder and, unusually for the high end, sells direct with a 30-day trial.

PAUL and STAN. McGowan still runs the company and is unusually visible, publishing a daily post and a video series.
