About Jamo

Jamo began in 1966 when two Danish cabinetmakers built a pair of speakers for a wedding and found people wanted to buy them. By the 1990s it was one of the largest loudspeaker manufacturers in Europe, selling on Scandinavian design at prices well below the Danish high end. Klipsch bought it in 2005.

JAcobsen and MOrtensen, two Danish cabinetmakers who started by building speakers for a wedding.

Bought by Klipsch in 2005, and carried with Klipsch into Voxx and then the Premium Audio Company.
