About WiiM

WiiM did to network streaming what a few Chinese amplifier brands did to Class D: took a category that cost hundreds and sold a competent version for a fraction of it. Because its parent had been building streaming boards for other brands for years, the software was mature at launch, and the update cadence since has been unusually fast.

Linkplay had spent years supplying streaming modules to other audio brands before launching a brand of its own.
