BASIK SUB is a Ported type Powered Subwoofer by DALI with a frequency range of 33-200 Hz. It is due in October 2026. It features 1 x 8" Paper, long stroke Woofer, and powered by a Class D 170 watts amplifier.
DALI publishes the driver as 1 x 8 inch long stroke, down-firing. Every published specification here matches the DALI SUB C-8 D, on sale since 2018, and the BASIK SUB rear panel is badged "DALI BASIK SUB C-8 D". The differences are price, five finishes instead of two, and a 16mm height figure. DALI has not said that either model replaces the other. Maximum power consumption is 250 watts.
