Fluance HFS is a 2-way Passive Bass Reflex Bookshelf speaker by Fluance. It was released in 2016. It features a 1" Soft-Dome Tweeter and 1 x 5" Glass fibre Woofer.
The Signature bookshelf, dual front ported so it can go close to a wall, with keyhole slots moulded into the back for surround duty.

Fluance HFS has a
Bass Reflex type cabinet. Bass Reflex type loudspeakers (aka Ported, Vented or Reflex Port) have enclosures that uses a port, hole or vent cut into the cabinet. Ported designs are generally more efficient than the Sealed designs.

Fluance HFS is a front-firing port speaker, which gives you more flexibility compared to rear firing speakers when you need to place it close against a wall or other surfaces.
