Balanced connections

Fosi Audio V3 Mono has balanced XLR connections and Yamaha R200A does not. A balanced cable carries the signal twice, on two conductors of opposite polarity. Interference picked up along the way lands on both equally and cancels when the two are recombined at the far end, so the longer the cable run and the noisier the surroundings, the more it is worth. Whether it also yields more power depends on how the amplifier is built inside - some are balanced end to end, others convert to single-ended internally and deliver the same either way.

Verdict

Different price classes - Yamaha R200A costs roughly 2.7x what Fosi Audio V3 Mono does. Expect it to lead on paper; the question is whether you will hear the difference through the speakers you own.

AreaBetterWhy
Analogue inputsAYamaha R200A takes more analogue sources - 3 against 2.
Phono stagedependsYamaha R200A has a built-in phono stage and Fosi Audio V3 Mono does not. Decisive if you own a turntable, completely irrelevant if you do not - and an outboard phono stage is easy to add later either way.
PriceBFosi Audio V3 Mono costs less - $110 against $300 at list.

A Yamaha R200A  B Fosi Audio V3 Mono
depends neither is better in the abstract - it turns on your room, your system or how you will use them. Only specs published for both amplifiers are judged; anything missing on either side is left out rather than guessed.

Which should you choose?

Yamaha R200A is ahead, but on only 1 of the measured areas, and it costs about 2.7x the price. That is a lot of money for a narrow margin - Fosi Audio V3 Mono is the sensible buy unless a specific feature above decides it for you. If you play records, Yamaha R200A saves you buying a phono stage; if you do not, ignore that row entirely. Think about the whole system: the roughly $190 saved by taking the cheaper one would buy better speakers or a subwoofer, which does more for the sound than the difference between two competent amplifiers.

What a spec sheet cannot show: how either sounds with your speakers, how the controls feel day to day, and what the app is like to live with - which is where most all-in-one amplifiers are actually won or lost. Power figures are the manufacturers' own and are not measured to a common standard, so treat small differences as noise. If you can hear both, that will tell you more than any row above.
