KEF MUON is a 4-way Passive Sealed Floor-standing speaker by KEF. It was released in 2007. It features a 1" vented aluminium dome with Tangerine Waveguide Tweeter, 1 x 5" Midrange and 6 x 10" aluminium cone Woofer.
Four-way sealed design in a 6 mm super-formed aluminium shell by Ross Lovegrove. Six 250 mm bass drivers are joined by a seventh 250 mm lower-midrange, above which sit the Uni-Q 125 mm Li-Mg-Al/LCP midrange and a vented 25 mm aluminium dome with the Tangerine waveguide. Acoustic Compliance Enhancement fills the cabinet with activated carbon to roughly double its effective volume. Limited to 100 pairs, each supplied with its own measured response curve.
The speaker has a frequency range of 25-60k Hz and a sensitivity of 90 dB. KEF MUON has an MSRP of 225000$ per pair.
