Drivers
One of the fundamental differences between these two speakers is that Klipschorn 80th is a 2-way design whereas the AK6 is a 3-way speaker. 3-way designs utilize a midrange driver in addition to the tweeter and woofer on 2-way designs. Designing a crossover for a 3-way speaker is a complicated process and generally increases the overall cost of the speaker.

Klipschorn 80th features a " K-692 with K-5-K aluminium horn Compression Horn Tweeter and 1 x 15" Paper Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 350Hz. On the other hand, the AK6 features a 1" polyimide diaphragm compression Tractrix horn Tweeter, a 2" Midrange and 1 x 15" fiber-composite with a trihedral exponential folded horn Woofer.
Frequency Response
Klipschorn 80th has a frequency range of 34-20k Hz whereas AK6 has a frequency range of 33-20k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 33Hz, the AK6 can go slightly deeper then the Klipschorn 80th's min frequency of 34Hz.
