MoFi SourcePoint V10 features a 1.25" Soft-Dome Tweeter and 2 x 10" Paper Pulp Woofer . On the other hand, the SourcePoint 10 features a 1.25" wide roll soft dome Tweeter and 1 x 10" Paper-pulp Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 1600 Hz.

Frequency Response

MoFi SourcePoint V10 has a frequency range of 27-30k Hz whereas SourcePoint 10 has a frequency range of 42-30k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 27Hz, the MoFi SourcePoint V10 can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the SourcePoint 10's min frequency of 42Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity

MoFi SourcePoint V10 is a 6 ohms speaker compared to the SourcePoint 10 which has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.

These two speakers also have different sensitivity levels. MoFi SourcePoint V10 sensitivity is rated at 91 dB and the SourcePoint 10's is rated at 91dB.

Power Range

Power range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. While using an amplifier within this range ensures the nominal performance , inputting a power that is higher than the max wattage can result in a damaged speaker.

MoFi SourcePoint V10 can handle a max power of 200 watts RMS from the amp the whereas MoFi SourcePoint V10 has a max power handling value of watts RMS , 200 watts less than the SourcePoint 10.

Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters such as Impedance, sensitivity and system efficiencies.
