SourcePoint 8 features a 1.25" wide roll soft dome Tweeter and 1 x 8" Paper-pulp Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 1600 Hz. On the other hand, the MoFi SourcePoint V10 features a 1.25" Soft-Dome Tweeter and 2 x 10" Paper Pulp Woofer .
Frequency Response
SourcePoint 8 has a frequency range of 47-30k Hz whereas MoFi SourcePoint V10 has a frequency range of 27-30k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 27Hz, the MoFi SourcePoint V10 can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the SourcePoint 8's min frequency of 47Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
SourcePoint 8 is a 8 ohms speaker compared to the MoFi SourcePoint V10 which has a nominal impedance of 6 ohms.
These two speakers also have different sensitivity levels. SourcePoint 8 sensitivity is rated at 87dB and the MoFi SourcePoint V10's is rated at 91 dB. This 4 dB difference makes the MoFi SourcePoint V10 a more sensitive speaker compared to MoFi SourcePoint 8, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power Range
Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. While using
an amplifier within this range ensures the nominal performance , inputting a power that is higher than the
max wattage can result in a damaged speaker.
SourcePoint 8 can handle a max power of 150 watts RMS from the amp the whereas MoFi SourcePoint V10 has a max power handling value of watts RMS, 150 watts less than the SourcePoint 8.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
such as Impedance, sensitivity and system efficiencies.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
MoFi SourcePoint V10 features Binding post posts which make bi-amping or bi-wiring possible. SourcePoint 8 has a 5-Way post which doesn't feature bi-amping/bi-wiring.

Size of a speaker can sometimes become an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare MoFi SourcePoint 8's and MoFi SourcePoint V10's external dimensions. MoFi SourcePoint 8 has external dimensions of 456 x 290 x 320mm ( 18 x 11.4 x 12.6 inch) whereas MoFi SourcePoint V10 has external dimensions of 1240.0 x 396.0 x 507.0mm ( 48-13/16inch x 15-9/16inch x 19-15/16inch ) .
MoFi SourcePoint V10 is clearly the larger of the two speakers. Its body is 106mm wider, 784mm taller and 187mm deeper than MoFi SourcePoint 8.

Base surface area of a loudspeaker may become a determining factor when the space in your room or desk is limited.
