Airmotiv T1+ features a 25×32 mm" folded ribbon Tweeter , a 5.25" Midrange and 2 x 6" woven fiber cone Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 275 Hz and 2700Hz. On the other hand, the Airmotiv C3+ features a 25×32 mm" folded ribbon Tweeter , a 5.25" Midrange and 4 x 6.5" woven fiber cone Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 350 Hz and 2800Hz.
Frequency Response
Airmotiv T1+ has a frequency range of 37 Hz – 28 kHz whereas Airmotiv C3+ has a frequency range of 40 Hz – 28 kHz. With a minimum frequency of 37Hz, the Airmotiv T1+ can go slightly deeper then the Airmotiv C3+'s min frequency of 40Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
Airmotiv T1+ and Airmotiv C3+ have the same Impedance of 4 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Airmotiv T1+ sensitivity is rated at 88 dB and the Airmotiv C3+'s is at 92 dB. This 4 dB difference makes the Emotiva Airmotiv C3+ a more sensitive speaker compared to Emotiva Airmotiv T1+, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.
One thing to keep in mind that the lower impedance speakers, especially the ones that are rated at 4 ohms may put more pressure on the amplifier unit comared to higher impedance speakers especially at high volume levels, so make sure the amp you pair with the Airmotiv T1+ and the Airmotiv T1+ can provide this impedance level.

Power Range
Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. While using an amplifier within this range ensures the nominal performance , inputting a power that is higher than the max wattage can result in a damaged speaker.
Airmotiv T1+ can handle a max power of 200 watts RMS from the amp the whereas Airmotiv T1+ has a max power handling value of 150 watts RMS , 50 watts less than the Airmotiv C3+.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
such as Impedance, sensitivity and system efficiencies.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
Both Airmotiv T1+ and Airmotiv C3+ features dual binding post speaker terminals for bi-amping or bi-wiring.

Cabinet Type and Port Position
Both Airmotiv T1+ and Airmotiv C3+ have rear firing ports. Rear ported speakers generally need more room between the backside of the speaker and the wall compared to sealed and front/bottom ported speakers. Placing the speakers too close to the walls may cause the bass to sound boomy.

Size of a speaker can sometimes become an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare Emotiva Airmotiv T1+'s and Emotiva Airmotiv C3+'s external dimensions. Emotiva Airmotiv T1+ is 1178mm narrower and 16mm less deeper than Emotiva Airmotiv C3+ but it is also 784mm taller.
Base Surface Area Comparison
Base surface area of a loudspeaker may become a determining factor when the space in your room or desk is limited.
The base surface area of the Emotiva Airmotiv T1+ is approximately 630.5cm2 / 97.7inch2 and base area of the Emotiva Airmotiv C3+ is approximately 4339.9cm2 / 672.7inch2. The Airmotiv T1+ requires 85% less surface area than the Airmotiv C3+ which gives it a small advantage on placement in tight spaces.
