What size room are the ELAC Concentro S509.2 and ELAC Concentro M807 speakers good for?
The size of the room in which you are planning to use these loudspeakers is an important decision

CFS509.2 features a " Folded ribbon foil JET 5c AMT Tweeter, a 7" Midrange and 4 x 7" Aluminium sandwich (AS) Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 120/400/2600Hz. On the other hand, the M807 features a " Folded ribbon foil JET 6c AMT Tweeter, a 4.5" Midrange and 2 x 10" Aluminium sandwich (AS) Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 150/650/2650Hz.
Frequency Response
CFS509.2 has a frequency range of 22-50k Hz whereas M807 has a frequency range of 24-50k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 22Hz, the CFS509.2 can go slightly deeper then the M807's min frequency of 24Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
CFS509.2 and M807 have the same Impedance of 4 ohms and their sensitivity is also same at 88 dB.
One thing to keep in mind that the lower impedance speakers, especially the ones that are rated at 4 ohms may put more pressure on the amplifier unit comared to higher impedance speakers especially at high volume levels, so make sure the amp you pair with the CFS509.2 and the CFS509.2 can provide this impedance level.

Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. Staying
within that range gives nominal performance; driving the speaker beyond its maximum wattage can damage it.
M807 can handle a max power of 400 watts RMS, whereas CFS509.2 has a max power handling value of 340 watts RMS, 60 watts less than the M807.
Note that higher power handling does not make a speaker louder: that depends mainly on
