CFS509.2 features a " Folded ribbon foil JET 5c AMT Tweeter , a 7" Midrange and 4 x 7" Aluminium sandwich (AS) Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 120/400/2600Hz. On the other hand, the CFS507.2 features a " Folded ribbon foil JET 6 AMT Tweeter , a 7" Midrange and 4 x 6" Aluminium sandwich (AS) Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 120/400/2600Hz.
Frequency Response
CFS509.2 has a frequency range of 22-50k Hz whereas CFS507.2 has a frequency range of 24-50k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 22Hz, the CFS509.2 can go slightly deeper then the CFS507.2's min frequency of 24Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
CFS509.2 and CFS507.2 have the same Impedance of 4 ohms and their sensitivity is also same at 88 dB.
One thing to keep in mind that the lower impedance speakers, especially the ones that are rated at 4 ohms may put more pressure on the amplifier unit comared to higher impedance speakers especially at high volume levels, so make sure the amp you pair with the CFS509.2 and the CFS509.2 can provide this impedance level.

Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. While using
an amplifier within this range ensures the nominal performance , inputting a power that is higher than the
max wattage can result in a damaged speaker.
CFS509.2 can handle a max power of 340 watts RMS from the amp the whereas CFS507.2 has a max power handling value of 300 watts RMS, 40 watts less than the CFS509.2.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
such as Impedance, sensitivity and system efficiencies.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
Both CFS509.2 and CFS507.2 features dual binding post speaker terminals for bi-amping or bi-wiring.
Physical Specs
Size of a speaker can sometimes become an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare ELAC Concentro S509.2's and ELAC Concentro S507.2's external dimensions. ELAC Concentro S509.2 has external dimensions of 1320.0 x 325.0 x 460.0mm ( 51-15/16 x 12-13/16 x 18-1/8inch) whereas ELAC Concentro S507.2 has external dimensions of 1220.0 x 270.0 x 380.0mm ( 48-1/16 x 10-5/8 x 14-15/16inch) .
ELAC Concentro S509.2 is clearly the larger of the two speakers. Its body is 55mm wider, 100mm taller and 80mm deeper than ELAC Concentro S507.2.
Base Surface Area Comparison
Base surface area of a loudspeaker may become a determining factor when the space in your room or desk is limited.
The base surface area of the ELAC Concentro S509.2 is approximately 1495.0cm2 / 231.7inch2 and base area of the ELAC Concentro S507.2 is approximately 1026.0cm2 / 159.0inch2. The CFS509.2 requires 46% more surface area than the CFS507.2 which gives it a small disadvantage on placement in tight spaces.
