Drivers

One of the fundamental differences between these two speakers is that CBS503.2 is a 3-way design whereas the M807 is a 4-way speaker. 3-way designs utilize a midrange driver in addition to the tweeter and woofer on 2-way designs. CBS503.2 features a " Folded ribbon foil JET 6 AMT Tweeter, a 5" Midrange and 1 x 7" AS-XR aluminium sandwich Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 400/2600Hz. On the other hand, the M807 features a " Folded ribbon foil JET 6c AMT Tweeter, a 4.5" Midrange and 2 x 10" Aluminium sandwich (AS) Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 150/650/2650Hz.
