Studio 630 features a 1" High Frequency Compression Tweeter and 1 x 6.25" PolyPlas Woofer . On the other hand, the Studio 6 Architectural 8IW features a 1" Horn-Loaded Tweeter and 1 x 8" Polyplas Woofer .
Frequency Response
Studio 630 has a frequency range of 45-40k Hz whereas Studio 6 Architectural 8IW has a frequency range of 43-20kHz. With a minimum frequency of 43Hz, the Studio 6 Architectural 8IW can go slightly deeper then the Studio 630's min frequency of 45Hz.

Studio 630 and Studio 6 Architectural 8IW have the same Impedance of 6 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Studio 630 sensitivity is rated at 85 dB and the Studio 6 Architectural 8IW's is at 93 dB. This 8 dB difference makes the JBL Studio 6 Architectural 8IW a more sensitive speaker compared to JBL Studio 630, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Studio 630 can handle a max power of 150 watts RMS from the amp the whereas Studio 6 Architectural 8IW has a max power handling value of 80 watts RMS, 70 watts less than the Studio 630.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
