Airmotiv T2+ features a 25×32 mm" folded ribbon Tweeter , a 5.25" Midrange and 2 x 8" woven fiber cone Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 350 Hz and 3200Hz. On the other hand, the Airmotiv C2+ features a 25×32 mm" folded ribbon Tweeter , a 3" Midrange and 2 x 6.5" woven fiber cone Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 350 Hz and 3200Hz.
Frequency Response
Airmotiv T2+ has a frequency range of 35 Hz – 28 kHz whereas Airmotiv C2+ has a frequency range of 45 Hz – 28 kHz. With a minimum frequency of 35Hz, the Airmotiv T2+ can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the Airmotiv C2+'s min frequency of 45Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
Airmotiv T2+ and Airmotiv C2+ have the same Impedance of 4 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Airmotiv T2+ sensitivity is rated at 91 dB and the Airmotiv C2+'s is at 92 dB. This 1 dB difference makes the Emotiva Airmotiv C2+ a more sensitive speaker compared to Emotiva Airmotiv T2+, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.
One thing to keep in mind that the lower impedance speakers, especially the ones that are rated at 4 ohms may put more pressure on the amplifier unit comared to higher impedance speakers especially at high volume levels, so make sure the amp you pair with the Airmotiv T2+ and the Airmotiv T2+ can provide this impedance level.

Power Range
Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. While using an amplifier within this range ensures the nominal performance , inputting a power that is higher than the max wattage can result in a damaged speaker.
Airmotiv T2+ can handle a max power of 200 watts RMS from the amp the whereas Airmotiv C2+ has a max power handling value of 150 watts RMS, 50 watts less than the Airmotiv T2+.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
such as Impedance, sensitivity and system efficiencies.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
Both Airmotiv T2+ and Airmotiv C2+ features dual binding post speaker terminals for bi-amping or bi-wiring.

Cabinet Type and Port Position
Both Airmotiv T2+ and Airmotiv C2+ have rear firing ports. Rear ported speakers generally need more room between the backside of the speaker and the wall compared to sealed and front/bottom ported speakers. Placing the speakers too close to the walls may cause the bass to sound boomy.

Size of a speaker can sometimes become an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare Emotiva Airmotiv T2+'s and Emotiva Airmotiv C2+'s external dimensions. Base surface area of a loudspeaker may become a determining factor when the space in your room or desk is limited.
The base surface area of the Emotiva Airmotiv T2+ is approximately 1360.9cm2 / 210.9inch2 and base area of the Emotiva Airmotiv C2+ is approximately 2168.0cm2 / 336.0inch2. The Airmotiv T2+ requires 37% less surface area than the Airmotiv C2+ which gives it a small advantage on placement in tight spaces.
