PB-4000 has a frequency range of 16-200 Hz whereas PB-1000 Pro has a frequency range of 17-260 Hz. With a minimum frequency of 16Hz, the PB-4000 can go slightly deeper then the PB-1000 Pro's min frequency of 17Hz.
