Yamaha NX-70A is a 2-way Powered Bass Reflex Bookshelf speaker by Yamaha. It was released in July 2026. NX-70A's built-in amplifier provides 160-watt RMS. The built-in power amplifier saves space & eliminates the need to connect Yamaha NX-70A to a stereo receiver or external power amp. It features a 1.25" Dome Tweeter and 1 x 5.25" Harmonious Diaphragm (ZYLON and spruce) Woofer.

Yamaha rates each speaker at 100 watts to the woofer and 60 watts to the tweeter and does not publish an amplifier class, a DAC sample rate or a bit depth, so those columns are left empty rather than taken from a review. The wireless link between the two speakers costs bandwidth: Yamaha quotes 50 Hz to 35 kHz over the supplied LAN cable and 50 Hz to 21 kHz wirelessly, both at -10 dB. Standby power draw is 2.0 watts. Yamaha labels its dimensions "W x H x D" and prints 189 x 234 x 333 mm; the front-on product photograph and What Hi-Fi both make 333 mm the height, and that is how the row is stored. usa.yamaha.com does not list the model, so the $3,000 is What Hi-Fi's US test price rather than a Yamaha USA figure; the maker price is GBP 2,590, on sale from July 2026.

The speaker has a frequency range of 50-35k Hz. Yamaha NX-70A has an MSRP of 3000$ per pair.
