History
The sections below take each area in turn: drivers, frequency response, physical size and what you get in the box.
Drivers
One of the fundamental differences between these two speakers is that SONIK 7 is a 3-way design whereas the SONIK CINEMA is a 2-way speaker. 3-way designs utilize a midrange driver in addition to the tweeter and woofer on 2-way designs. Designing a crossover for a 3-way speaker is a complicated process and generally increases the overall cost of the speaker.

SONIK 7 features a 0.6875 x 1.75" Planar Tweeter, a 1.125" Midrange and 2 x 7.0" Wood fiber Woofer. On the other hand, the SONIK CINEMA features a 1.125" Soft-Dome Tweeter and 2 x 5-1/4" Wood fiber Woofer.
Frequency Response
SONIK 7 has a frequency range of 36-30k Hz whereas SONIK CINEMA has a frequency range of 46-20k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 36Hz, the SONIK 7 can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the SONIK CINEMA's min frequency of 46Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
SONIK 7 and SONIK CINEMA have the same Impedance of 6 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. SONIK 7 sensitivity is rated at 88.5 dB and the SONIK CINEMA's is at 89.5 dB. This 1 dB difference makes the DALI SONIK CINEMA a more sensitive speaker compared to DALI SONIK 7, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power Range
Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. Staying
within that range gives nominal performance; driving the speaker beyond its maximum wattage can damage it.
SONIK 7 can handle a max power of 180 watts RMS, whereas SONIK CINEMA has a max power handling value of 100 watts RMS, 80 watts less than the SONIK 7.
Note that higher power handling does not make a speaker louder: that depends mainly on
sensitivity and impedance. The calculator below shows how loud each of these actually plays

Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
SONIK 7 features Binding post type posts and SONIK CINEMA has a Binding post type posts. None of these speakers feature bi-amping/bi-wiring.
Cabinet Type and Port Position
SONIK 7 has a rear firing port whereas SONIK CINEMA has a front firing ports. DALI SONIK CINEMA's front-firing port gives more flexibility in placement in regards to proximity to walls compared to DALI SONIK 7 with its rear-firing port.
Physical Specs
The size of a speaker can sometimes be an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare DALI SONIK 7's and DALI SONIK CINEMA's external dimensions. DALI SONIK 7 has external dimensions of 1005.0 x 305.0 x 331.0mm (39-9/16inch x 12inch x 13inch) whereas DALI SONIK CINEMA has external dimensions of 172.0 x 572.0 x 215.0mm (6-3/4inch x 22-1/2inch x 8-7/16inch).
DALI SONIK CINEMA is 833mm shorter and 116mm less deeper than DALI SONIK 7 but it is also 267mm wider.
