NS-F150 features a 1" Soft dome Soft dome Tweeter and 2 x 6.5" Cone Woofer. On the other hand, the Alpha T20 features a 0.75" anodized aluminum with front waveguide Dome Tweeter and 2 x 5.25" Polypropylene Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 2500Hz.
Frequency Response
NS-F150 has a frequency range of 37-30k Hz whereas Alpha T20 has a frequency range of 36-21k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 36Hz, the Alpha T20 can go slightly deeper then the NS-F150's min frequency of 37Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
NS-F150 is a 6 ohms speaker compared to the Alpha T20 which has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.
These two speakers also have different sensitivity levels. NS-F150 sensitivity is rated at 88 dB and the Alpha T20's is rated at 90 dB. This 2 dB difference makes the PSB Alpha T20 a more sensitive speaker compared to Yamaha NS-F150, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. Staying
within that range gives nominal performance; driving the speaker beyond its maximum wattage can damage it.
NS-F150 can handle a max power of 180 watts RMS, whereas Alpha T20 has a max power handling value of 120 watts RMS, 60 watts less than the NS-F150.
Note that higher power handling does not make a speaker louder: that depends mainly on

The size of a speaker can sometimes be an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare Yamaha NS-F150's and PSB Alpha T20's external dimensions. Which should you choose?
PSB Alpha T20 has the edge on paper, though the margin is not large. The rows marked "depends" may matter more to you than the score does. Match it to your room: we rate Yamaha NS-F150 the better fit for a small room, and PSB Alpha T20 for a large room. In a large or open-plan room, Yamaha NS-F150 has the cabinet volume to fill it more easily; in a small room, near a wall or at desk distance, PSB Alpha T20 is the easier speaker to get right.
