Both S20 and M16 are 2-way speakers. S20 features a 1" Terylene high-res dome Tweeter and 1 6.5" Mica-reinforced polypropylene Woofer . On the other hand, M16 features a 1" aluminum Dome Tweeter and 1 6.5" Anodized aluminum Woofer .
S20 has a frequency range of 39-40k Hz whereas M16 has a frequency range of 55- 20k Hz.
Impedance and Sensitivity
S20 is a 8 ohms speaker compared to M16 which has a nominal impedance of 6 ohms. These two speakers also have different sensitivity levels. S20 sensitivity is rated at 88 dB and M16's is at 86 dB dB.
S20 has a power range of 20-125 watts RMS whereas M16 has a power range of 50-120 watts.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
S20 features 5-way post type posts and M16 has a 5-way post type posts. None of these speakers feature b-amping/bi-wiring.
Cabinet Type and Port Position
Both S20 and M16 features dual binding post speaker terminals for bi-amping or bi-wiring.
