EGG features a 0.75" Aluminum Dome Tweeter and 1 x 4.25" Aluminum Woofer . On the other hand, the YU2 features a 0.75" Silk Soft-Dome Tweeter and 1 x 3" Kevlar Woofer .
Frequency Response
EGG has a frequency range of 90-33k Hz whereas YU2 has a frequency range of 80-20k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 80Hz, the YU2 can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the EGG's min frequency of 90Hz.

Size of a speaker can sometimes become an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare KEF EGG's and Kanto YU2's external dimensions.
