One of the fundamental differences between these two speakers is that Aria 906 is a 2-way design whereas the Aria K2 936K2 is a 3-way speaker. 3-way designs utilize a midrange driver in addition to the tweeter and woofer on 2-way designs. Designing a crossover for a 3-way speaker is a complicated process and generally increases the overall cost of the speaker.

Aria 906 features a 1" TNF aluminum/magnesium Inverted Hard Dome Tweeter and 1 x 6.5" Flax Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 2800Hz. On the other hand, the Aria K2 936K2 features a 1" aluminum/magnesium with waveguide inverted dome Tweeter , a 6.5" Midrange and 3 x 6.5" K2 aramid fiber/fiberglass Woofer .

Aria 906 has a frequency range of 55-28k Hz whereas Aria K2 936K2 has a frequency range of 39-28k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 39Hz, the Aria K2 936K2 can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the Aria 906's min frequency of 55Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
Aria 906 and Aria K2 936K2 have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Aria 906 sensitivity is rated at 89.5 dB and the Aria K2 936K2's is at 92 dB. This 2 dB difference makes the Focal Aria K2 936K2 a more sensitive speaker compared to Focal Aria 906, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Aria 906 can handle a max power of 300 watts RMS from the amp the whereas Aria 906 has a max power handling value of 120 watts RMS , 180 watts less than the Aria K2 936K2.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
