Emit 25C features a 1.1" Cerotar Soft-Dome Tweeter and 2 x 5.5" MSP Woofer with a Crossover frequency at (1000)/3500 Hz. On the other hand, the Emit 50 features a 1.1" Cerotar Soft-Dome Tweeter , a 6" Midrange and 2 x 7" MSP Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 540/4400 HZ.
Frequency Response
Emit 25C has a frequency range of 53-25k Hz whereas Emit 50 has a frequency range of 33-25k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 33Hz, the Emit 50 can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the Emit 25C's min frequency of 53Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
Emit 25C and Emit 50 have the same Impedance of 4 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Emit 25C sensitivity is rated at 87 dB and the Emit 50's is at 86 dB. This 1 dB difference makes the Dynaudio Emit 25C a more sensitive speaker compared to Dynaudio Emit 50, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.
One thing to keep in mind that the lower impedance speakers, especially the ones that are rated at 4 ohms may put more pressure on the amplifier unit comared to higher impedance speakers especially at high volume levels, so make sure the amp you pair with the Emit 25C and the Emit 25C can provide this impedance level.

Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
Emit 25C features Binding post type posts and Emit 50 has a Binding post type posts. None of these speakers feature bi-amping/bi-wiring.
Cabinet Type and Port Position
Both Emit 25C and Emit 50 have rear firing ports. Rear ported speakers generally need more room between the backside of the speaker and the wall compared to sealed and front/bottom ported speakers. Placing the speakers too close to the walls may cause the bass to sound boomy.

Physical Specs
Size of a speaker can sometimes become an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare Dynaudio Emit 25C's and Dynaudio Emit 50's external dimensions. Dynaudio Emit 25C has external dimensions of 170.0 x 550.0 x 272.0mm ( 6-11/16 x 21-5/8 x 10-11/16inch) whereas Dynaudio Emit 50 has external dimensions of 1140.0 x 205.0 x 312.0mm ( 44-7/8 x 8-1/16 x 12-5/16inch) .
Dynaudio Emit 25C is 970mm shorter and 40mm less deeper than Dynaudio Emit 50 but it is also 345mm wider.
Base Surface Area Comparison
Base surface area of a loudspeaker may become a determining factor when the space in your room or desk is limited.
The base surface area of the Dynaudio Emit 25C is approximately 1496.0cm2 / 231.9inch2 and base area of the Dynaudio Emit 50 is approximately 639.6cm2 / 99.1inch2. The Emit 25C requires 134% more surface area than the Emit 50 which gives it a small disadvantage on placement in tight spaces.
