Rubikore 8 features a 1.14" Hybrid dome + planar Tweeter and 3 x 6.5" Wood fibre Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 500 / 800 / 2400 / 14000Hz. On the other hand, the Rubikore 6 features a 1.14" Hybrid dome + planar Tweeter and 2 x 6.5" Wood fibre Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 800 / 2600 / 14000Hz.

Rubikore 8 and Rubikore 6 has exactly the same frequency range of 38-34k Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
Rubikore 8 and Rubikore 6 have the same Impedance of 4 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Rubikore 8 sensitivity is rated at 90.5 dB and the Rubikore 6's is at 88.5 dB. This 2 dB difference makes the DALI Rubikore 8 a more sensitive speaker compared to DALI Rubikore 6, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.
One thing to keep in mind that the lower impedance speakers, especially the ones that are rated at 4 ohms may put more pressure on the amplifier unit comared to higher impedance speakers especially at high volume levels, so make sure the amp you pair with the Rubikore 8 and the Rubikore 8 can provide this impedance level.

Power Range
Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. Staying
within that range gives nominal performance; driving the speaker beyond its maximum wattage can damage it.
Rubikore 8 can handle a max power of 250 watts RMS, whereas Rubikore 6 has a max power handling value of 200 watts RMS, 50 watts less than the Rubikore 8.
Note that higher power handling does not make a speaker louder: that depends mainly on

Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
Both Rubikore 8 and Rubikore 6 features dual binding post speaker terminals for bi-amping or bi-wiring.
Physical Specs
The size of a speaker can sometimes be an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare DALI Rubikore 8's and DALI Rubikore 6's external dimensions. DALI Rubikore 8 is clearly the larger of the two speakers. Its body is 20mm wider, 110mm taller and 64mm deeper than DALI Rubikore 6.
