HD5 features a 0.75" Silk Soft-Dome Tweeter and 1 x 5" Aramid Woofer. On the other hand, the Prime Wireless Pro features a 1" aluminum Dome Tweeter and 1 x 5.25" Polypropylen cone Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 2000Hz.
Frequency Response
HD5 has a frequency range of 55-22k Hz whereas Prime Wireless Pro has a frequency range of 42-25k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 42Hz, the Prime Wireless Pro can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the HD5's min frequency of 55Hz.

Cabinet Type and Port Position
Both HD5 and Prime Wireless Pro have rear firing ports. Rear ported speakers generally need more room between the backside of the speaker and the wall compared to sealed and front/bottom ported speakers. Placing the speakers too close to the walls may cause the bass to sound boomy.

Physical Specs
The size of a speaker can sometimes be an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare Audioengine HD5's and SVS Prime Wireless Pro's external dimensions. Audioengine HD5 has external dimensions of 283.0 x 183.0 x 266.0mm (11.125inch x 7.1875inch x 10.4375inch) whereas SVS Prime Wireless Pro has external dimensions of 295 x 180 x 228mm (11.61 x 7.09 x 8.96 inch).

A Audioengine HD5 B SVS Prime Wireless Pro
depends neither is better in the abstract - it turns on your room, your system or how you will use them. Only specs published for both speakers are judged; anything missing on either side is left out rather than guessed.
Which should you choose?
The usual trade-off: SVS Prime Wireless Pro measures better, Audioengine HD5 costs about about 64% more% less. Whether that gap is worth the money is the call only you can make - and in a normal room it is often smaller than the numbers suggest. If a subwoofer is in your plans, the bass gap largely stops mattering - you would be crossing over above 55Hz anyway, which makes the cheaper Audioengine HD5 much easier to justify. Think about the whole system, not just the speakers: the roughly $350 saved by taking the cheaper pair would buy a subwoofer or a better amplifier, and either usually does more for the sound than the difference between these two.
And remember what a spec sheet cannot show: how each looks in your room and whether the finish suits it, what dealer support and warranty are like where you live, and how they actually sound to you. If you can hear them first - ideally with your own music - that will tell you more than any number above.
