Drivers
One of the fundamental differences between these two speakers is that NS-2000A is a 3-way design whereas the NS-800A is a 2-way speaker. 3-way designs utilize a midrange driver in addition to the tweeter and woofer on 2-way designs. Designing a crossover for a 3-way speaker is a complicated process and generally increases the overall cost of the speaker.

NS-2000A features a 1.25" Dome Dome Tweeter, a 3.25" Midrange and 2 x 6.5" Cone Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 750 Hz/3.5 kHz. On the other hand, the NS-800A features a 1.25" Dome Dome Tweeter and 1 x 6.5" Cone Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 2.6 kHz.
Frequency Response
NS-2000A has a frequency range of 34-65k Hz whereas NS-800A has a frequency range of 40-65k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 34Hz, the NS-2000A can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the NS-800A's min frequency of 40Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
NS-2000A and NS-800A have the same Impedance of 6 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. NS-2000A sensitivity is rated at 88 dB and the NS-800A's is at 86.5 dB. This 1 dB difference makes the Yamaha NS-2000A a more sensitive speaker compared to Yamaha NS-800A, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. Staying
within that range gives nominal performance; driving the speaker beyond its maximum wattage can damage it.
NS-2000A can handle a max power of 200 watts RMS, whereas NS-800A has a max power handling value of 120 watts RMS, 80 watts less than the NS-2000A.
Note that higher power handling does not make a speaker louder: that depends mainly on

Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
NS-2000A features Binding post type posts and NS-800A has a Binding post type posts. None of these speakers feature bi-amping/bi-wiring.
Physical Specs
The size of a speaker can sometimes be an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons.
