Both EVO4.1 and LX16 are 2-way speakers. EVO4.1 features a 1.1875 x 2.375" AMT (Ribbon) Tweeter and 1 5" Kevlar Woofer . On the other hand, LX16 features a 1.0 x 1.4" Folded Motion Tweeter and 1 5.25" Aluminum Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 2700 Hz.
EVO4.1 has a frequency range of 58-22k Hz whereas LX16 has a frequency range of 60-25k Hz.
Impedance and Sensitivity
EVO4.1 is a 8 ohms speaker compared to LX16 which has a nominal impedance of 5 ohms. These two speakers also have different sensitivity levels. EVO4.1 sensitivity is rated at 87 dB and LX16's is at 92 dB dB.
EVO4.1 has a power range of 25-100 watts RMS whereas LX16 has a power range of 20-200 watts.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
EVO4.1 features Post posts which makes bi-amping or bi-wiring possible. LX16 has a Custom 5-way binding posts which doesn't feature b-amping/bi-wiring.
