One of the fundamental differences between these two speakers is that Australe Ez is a 3-way design whereas the Comete Ez is a 2-way speaker. 3-way designs utilize a midrange driver in addition to the tweeter and woofer on 2-way designs. Designing a crossover for a 3-way speaker is a complicated process and generally increases the overall cost of the speaker.

Australe Ez features a 1" Titanium dome Horn-Loaded Tweeter , a 6.5" Midrange and 3 x 6.5" Double ferrite fibreglass Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 215Hz and 3500Hz. On the other hand, the Comete Ez features a 1" Titanium dome Horn-Loaded Tweeter and 1 x 6.5" Fibreglass Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 3500Hz.

Australe Ez has a frequency range of 35-22k Hz whereas Comete Ez has a frequency range of 49-22k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 35Hz, the Australe Ez can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the Comete Ez's min frequency of 49Hz.

Australe Ez and Comete Ez have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Australe Ez sensitivity is rated at 92.5 dB and the Comete Ez's is at 89 dB. This 4 dB difference makes the Triangle Esprit Australe Ez a more sensitive speaker compared to Triangle Esprit Comete Ez, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

an amplifier within this range ensures the nominal performance , inputting a power that is higher than the
max wattage can result in a damaged speaker.
Australe Ez can handle a max power of 150 watts RMS from the amp the whereas Comete Ez has a max power handling value of 80 watts RMS, 70 watts less than the Australe Ez.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
