Drivers
One of the fundamental differences between these two speakers is that Premier 520LCR v2 is a 2-way design whereas the 700F is a 3-way speaker. 3-way designs utilize a midrange driver in addition to the tweeter and woofer on 2-way designs. Designing a crossover for a 3-way speaker is a complicated process and generally increases the overall cost of the speaker.

Premier 520LCR v2 features a 1" Hard-Dome Tweeter and 2 x 6" Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 650Hz and 1500Hz. On the other hand, the 700F features a 1" Tweeter, a 5.5" Midrange and 2 x 5.5" Carbon-Infused Polypropylene Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 800Hz and 2500Hz.
Frequency Response
Premier 520LCR v2 has a frequency range of 75-23k Hz whereas 700F has a frequency range of 45-25k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 45Hz, the 700F can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the Premier 520LCR v2's min frequency of 75Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
Premier 520LCR v2 and 700F have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Premier 520LCR v2 sensitivity is rated at 93 dB and the 700F's is at 91 dB. This 2 dB difference makes the Paradigm Premier 520LCR v2 a more sensitive speaker compared to Paradigm 700F, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power Range
Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. Staying
within that range gives nominal performance; driving the speaker beyond its maximum wattage can damage it.
700F can handle a max power of 180 watts RMS, whereas Premier 520LCR v2 has a max power handling value of 120 watts RMS, 60 watts less than the 700F.
Note that higher power handling does not make a speaker louder: that depends mainly on

Physical Specs
The size of a speaker can sometimes be an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare Paradigm Premier 520LCR v2's and Paradigm 700F's external dimensions.
