What size room are the Paradigm 500C and Paradigm 600C speakers good for?

Premier 500C features a 1" aluminum X-PAL dome with PPA (Perforated Phase-Aligning) lens Tweeter, a 4" Midrange and 2 x 5.5" carbon-infused polypropylene Woofer. On the other hand, the Premier 600C features a 1" aluminum X-PAL dome with PPA (Perforated Phase-Aligning) lens Tweeter, a 4" Midrange and 4 x 6.5" carbon-infused polypropylene Woofer.
Frequency Response
Premier 500C has a frequency range of 73-25k Hz whereas Premier 600C has a frequency range of 60-25k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 60Hz, the Premier 600C can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the Premier 500C's min frequency of 73Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
Premier 500C and Premier 600C have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Premier 500C sensitivity is rated at 92 dB and the Premier 600C's is at 94 dB. This 2 dB difference makes the Paradigm 600C a more sensitive speaker compared to Paradigm 500C, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. Staying
within that range gives nominal performance; driving the speaker beyond its maximum wattage can damage it.
Premier 600C can handle a max power of 180 watts RMS, whereas Premier 500C has a max power handling value of 120 watts RMS, 60 watts less than the Premier 600C.
Note that higher power handling does not make a speaker louder: that depends mainly on

A Paradigm 500C B Paradigm 600C
depends neither is better in the abstract - it turns on your room, your system or how you will use them. Only specs published for both speakers are judged; anything missing on either side is left out rather than guessed.
Which should you choose?
Paradigm 600C leads across most of the measured areas for a fairly modest premium, which makes it the easier pick if the budget stretches. Paradigm 500C is the one to take if it does not. If a subwoofer is in your plans, the bass gap largely stops mattering - you would be crossing over above 73Hz anyway, which makes the cheaper Paradigm 500C much easier to justify. In a large or open-plan room, Paradigm 600C has the cabinet volume to fill it more easily; in a small room, near a wall or at desk distance, Paradigm 500C is the easier speaker to get right.
And remember what a spec sheet cannot show: how each looks in your room and whether the finish suits it, what dealer support and warranty are like where you live, and how they actually sound to you. If you can hear them first - ideally with your own music - that will tell you more than any number above.
