Silver On-Wall 8G features a 1" gold dome C-CAM Tweeter and 1 x 6" C-CAM RST III Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 2900Hz. On the other hand, the Silver AMS 8G features a 1" gold dome C-CAM Tweeter and 1 x 5.25" C-CAM RST III Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 2800Hz.
Frequency Response
Silver On-Wall 8G has a frequency range of 44-35k Hz whereas Silver AMS 8G has a frequency range of 82-35k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 44Hz, the Silver On-Wall 8G can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the Silver AMS 8G's min frequency of 82Hz.

Silver On-Wall 8G and Silver AMS 8G have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Silver On-Wall 8G sensitivity is rated at 88 dB and the Silver AMS 8G's is at 85.5 dB. This 2 dB difference makes the Monitor Audio Silver On-Wall 8G a more sensitive speaker compared to Monitor Audio Silver AMS 8G, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. While using
an amplifier within this range ensures the nominal performance , inputting a power that is higher than the
max wattage can result in a damaged speaker.
Silver On-Wall 8G can handle a max power of 100 watts RMS from the amp the whereas Silver AMS 8G has a max power handling value of 60 watts RMS, 40 watts less than the Silver On-Wall 8G.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
such as Impedance, sensitivity and system efficiencies.
