R-5650-S II has a frequency range of 60-23kHz whereas RC55i has a frequency range of 70-20kHz. With a minimum frequency of 60Hz, the R-5650-S II can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the RC55i's min frequency of 70Hz.

R-5650-S II and RC55i have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. R-5650-S II sensitivity is rated at 92 dB and the RC55i's is at 89 dB. This 3 dB difference makes the Klipsch R-5650-S II a more sensitive speaker compared to Polk Audio RC55i, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

R-5650-S II can handle a max power of 100 watts RMS from the amp the whereas R-5650-S II has a max power handling value of 50 watts RMS , 50 watts less than the RC55i.
