Impedance and Sensitivity
R-1650-W and 65 RT have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. R-1650-W sensitivity is rated at 88 dB and the 65 RT's is at 90 dB. This 2 dB difference makes the Polk Audio 65 RT a more sensitive speaker compared to Klipsch R-1650-W, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

R-1650-W can handle a max power of 125 watts RMS from the amp the whereas R-1650-W has a max power handling value of 35 watts RMS , 90 watts less than the 65 RT.
