C-8IW features a 0.5" Soft-Dome Tweeter and 1 x 8" Poly Woofer . On the other hand, the 65 RT features a 1" Soft-Dome Tweeter and 1 x 6.5" Polymer Composite Woofer .
Frequency Response
C-8IW has a frequency range of 45-20kHz whereas 65 RT has a frequency range of 50-25kHz. With a minimum frequency of 45Hz, the C-8IW can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the 65 RT's min frequency of 50Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
C-8IW and 65 RT have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. C-8IW sensitivity is rated at 89 dB and the 65 RT's is at 90 dB. This 1 dB difference makes the Polk Audio 65 RT a more sensitive speaker compared to JBL C Series C-8IW, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. While using an amplifier within this range ensures the nominal performance , inputting a power that is higher than the max wattage can result in a damaged speaker.
C-8IW can handle a max power of 125 watts RMS from the amp the whereas C-8IW has a max power handling value of 45 watts RMS , 80 watts less than the 65 RT.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
such as Impedance, sensitivity and system efficiencies.
