Confidence 30 features a 1.1" Esotar 3 Soft-Dome Tweeter, a 6" Midrange and 2 x 7" MSP Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 290/3700 Hz. On the other hand, the Confidence 50 features a 1.1" Esotar 3 Soft-Dome Tweeter, a 6" Midrange and 2 x 7" MSP Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 200/2860 Hz.
Frequency Response
Confidence 30 has a frequency range of 38-22k Hz whereas Confidence 50 has a frequency range of 35-22k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 35Hz, the Confidence 50 can go slightly deeper then the Confidence 30's min frequency of 38Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
Confidence 30 and Confidence 50 have the same Impedance of 4 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Confidence 30 sensitivity is rated at 88 dB and the Confidence 50's is at 87 dB. This 1 dB difference makes the Dynaudio Confidence 30 a more sensitive speaker compared to Dynaudio Confidence 50, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.
One thing to keep in mind that the lower impedance speakers, especially the ones that are rated at 4 ohms may put more pressure on the amplifier unit comared to higher impedance speakers especially at high volume levels, so make sure the amp you pair with the Confidence 30 and the Confidence 30 can provide this impedance level.
