UIW RLS II features a 1" Hard-Dome Tweeter and 2 x 6.5" Polypropylene Woofer. On the other hand, the UIW RSS II features a 1" Hard-Dome Tweeter and 2 x 4.5" Polypropylene Woofer.
Frequency Response
UIW RLS II has a frequency range of 22-30kHz whereas UIW RSS II has a frequency range of 26-30kHz. With a minimum frequency of 22Hz, the UIW RLS II can go slightly deeper then the UIW RSS II's min frequency of 26Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
UIW RLS II and UIW RSS II have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. UIW RLS II sensitivity is rated at 92 dB and the UIW RSS II's is at 90 dB. This 2 dB difference makes the Definitive UIW RLS II a more sensitive speaker compared to Definitive UIW RSS II, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. Staying
within that range gives nominal performance; driving the speaker beyond its maximum wattage can damage it.
UIW RLS II can handle a max power of 350 watts RMS, whereas UIW RSS II has a max power handling value of 250 watts RMS, 100 watts less than the UIW RLS II.
Note that higher power handling does not make a speaker louder: that depends mainly on
