ProCenter 2000 features a 1" pure aluminum dome Tweeter and 2 x 5.25" BDSS Woofer. On the other hand, the CS-9040 features a 1" annealed aluminum dome Tweeter and 2 x 4.5" BDSS Woofer.

ProCenter 2000 has a frequency range of 42-30k Hz whereas CS-9040 has a frequency range of 50-40k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 42Hz, the ProCenter 2000 can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the CS-9040's min frequency of 50Hz.

within that range gives nominal performance; driving the speaker beyond its maximum wattage can damage it.
ProCenter 2000 can handle a max power of 250 watts RMS, whereas CS-9040 has a max power handling value of 200 watts RMS, 50 watts less than the ProCenter 2000.
