Demand D5C features a 1" aluminum dome Tweeter and 2 x 5.25" BDSS Woofer. On the other hand, the Demand D7 features a 1" Hard-Dome Tweeter and 1 x 4.5" Polypropylene Woofer.
Frequency Response
Demand D5C has a frequency range of 42-22k Hz whereas Demand D7 has a frequency range of 67-21k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 42Hz, the Demand D5C can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the Demand D7's min frequency of 67Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
Demand D5C and Demand D7 have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Demand D5C sensitivity is rated at 85.5 dB and the Demand D7's is at 85 dB. This 1 dB difference makes the Definitive D5C a more sensitive speaker compared to Definitive Demand D7, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. Staying
within that range gives nominal performance; driving the speaker beyond its maximum wattage can damage it.
Demand D5C can handle a max power of 200 watts RMS, whereas Demand D7 has a max power handling value of 125 watts RMS, 75 watts less than the Demand D5C.
Note that higher power handling does not make a speaker louder: that depends mainly on

In this section, we are going to compare Definitive D5C's and Definitive Demand D7's external dimensions.
