Both DALI Opticon 8 MK2 and DALI Opticon 1 MK2 are 2-way speakers. DALI Opticon 8 MK2 features a 1.125" Tweeter and x 8" Wood Fiber Woofer . On the other hand, DALI Opticon 1 MK2 features a 1.125" Soft-Dome Tweeter and x 4.75" Wood Fiber Woofer .
DALI Opticon 8 MK2 has a frequency range of 38-30k Hz whereas DALI Opticon 1 MK2 has a frequency range of 62-26k Hz.
Impedance and Sensitivity
DALI Opticon 8 MK2 and DALI Opticon 1 MK2 has the same Impedance of 4 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. DALI Opticon 8 MK2 sensitivity is rated at 88 dB and DALI Opticon 1 MK2's is at 86 dB. This 2 dB difference makes DALI Opticon 8 MK2 a more sensitive speaker compared to DALI Opticon 1 MK2, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.
DALI Opticon 8 MK2 has a power range of 40-300 watts RMS whereas DALI Opticon 1 MK2 has a power range of 25-100 watts.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
DALI Opticon 8 MK2 features Post posts which makes bi-amping or bi-wiring possible. DALI Opticon 1 MK2 has a Post which doesn't feature bi-amping/bi-wiring.
Cabinet Type and Port Position
Both DALI Opticon 8 MK2 and DALI Opticon 1 MK2 have a back firing ports.
