CWM362 has a frequency range of 50-30kHz whereas W253L has a frequency range of 55-18kHz. With a minimum frequency of 50Hz, the CWM362 can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the W253L's min frequency of 55Hz.

Impedance and Sensitivity
CWM362 and W253L have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. CWM362 sensitivity is rated at 89 dB and the W253L's is at 91 dB. This 2 dB difference makes the Revel W253L a more sensitive speaker compared to B&W CWM362, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. Staying
within that range gives nominal performance; driving the speaker beyond its maximum wattage can damage it.
W253L can handle a max power of 130 watts RMS, whereas CWM362 has a max power handling value of 80 watts RMS, 50 watts less than the W253L.
Note that higher power handling does not make a speaker louder: that depends mainly on
