Impedance and Sensitivity
iW 62TS is a 8 ohms speaker compared to DWM which has a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. These two speakers also have different sensitivity levels. iW 62TS sensitivity is rated at 94 dB and DWM's is at 86 dB. This 8 dB difference makes the Tannoy iW 62TS a more sensitive speaker compared to Magnepan DWM, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.
