Both RP-400M and Alpha P3 are 2-way speakers. RP-400M features a 1" Tractrix Horn Tweeter and 1 4" Cerametallic Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 1500 Hz. On the other hand, Alpha P3 features a 0.75" anodized aluminum Hard-Dome Tweeter and 1 4.5" Polypropylene Woofer .
RP-400M has a frequency range of 52-25k Hz whereas Alpha P3 has a frequency range of 57-21k Hz.
Impedance and Sensitivity
RP-400M and Alpha P3 has the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. RP-400M sensitivity is rated at 93 dB and Alpha P3's is at 87 dBd B.
RP-400M has a power range of 50 watts RMS whereas Alpha P3 has a power range of 10-80 watts.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
RP-400M features Gold-plated 5-way post type posts and Alpha P3 has a Gold-plated 5-way post type posts. None of these speakers feature b-amping/bi-wiring.
Cabinet Type and Port Position
Both RP-400M and Alpha P3 features dual binding post speaker terminals for bi-amping or bi-wiring.
