Both DALI Opticon 1 MK2 and Bronze 1 are 2-way speakers. DALI Opticon 1 MK2 features a 1.125" Soft-Dome Tweeter and x 4.75" Wood Fiber Woofer . On the other hand, Bronze 1 features a 1" Dome Tweeter and 1 x 5.5" C-CAM Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 2700 Hz.
DALI Opticon 1 MK2 has a frequency range of 62-26k Hz whereas Bronze 1 has a frequency range of 55-30k Hz.
Impedance and Sensitivity
DALI Opticon 1 MK2 is a 4 ohms speaker compared to Bronze 1 which has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms. These two speakers also have different sensitivity levels. DALI Opticon 1 MK2 sensitivity is rated at 86 dB and Bronze 1's is at 88 dB. This 2 dB difference makes Monitor Audio Bronze 1 a more sensitive speaker compared to DALI Opticon 1 MK2, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.
DALI Opticon 1 MK2 has a power range of 25-100 watts RMS whereas Bronze 1 has a power range of 20-70 watts.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
DALI Opticon 1 MK2 features Post type posts and Bronze 1 has a Post type posts. None of these speakers feature bi-amping/bi-wiring.
Cabinet Type and Port Position
Both DALI Opticon 1 MK2 and Bronze 1 have a back firing ports.
