One of the fundamental differences between these two speakers is that Debut 2.0 F6.2 is a 3-way design whereas the Debut 2.0 C5.2 is a 2-way speaker. 3-way designs utilize a midrange driver in addition to the tweeter and woofer on 2-way designs. Designing a crossover for a 3-way speaker is a complicated process and generally increases the overall cost of the speaker.

Debut 2.0 F6.2 features a 1" silk dome with wide-dispersion waveguide Tweeter, a 6.5" Midrange and 2 x 6.5" Woven Aramid-Fiber Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 90Hz and 2200Hz. On the other hand, the Debut 2.0 C5.2 features a 1" silk Hard-Dome Tweeter and 2 x 5.25" aramid-fiber Woofer.

Debut 2.0 F6.2 has a frequency range of 39-35k Hz whereas Debut 2.0 C5.2 has a frequency range of 55-35k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 39Hz, the Debut 2.0 F6.2 can go significantly deeper on the low side and provide stronger bass compared to the Debut 2.0 C5.2's min frequency of 55Hz.
