Both S20 and LX16 are 2-way speakers. S20 features a 1" Terylene high-res dome Tweeter and 1 6.5" Mica-reinforced polypropylene Woofer . On the other hand, LX16 features a 1.0 x 1.4" Folded Motion Tweeter and 1 5.25" Aluminum Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 2700 Hz.
S20 has a frequency range of 39-40k Hz whereas LX16 has a frequency range of 60-25k Hz.
Impedance and Sensitivity
S20 is a 8 ohms speaker compared to LX16 which has a nominal impedance of 5 ohms. These two speakers also have different sensitivity levels. S20 sensitivity is rated at 88 dB and LX16's is at 92 dB dB.
S20 has a power range of 20-125 watts RMS whereas LX16 has a power range of 20-200 watts.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
S20 features Custom 5-way binding posts type posts and LX16 has a Custom 5-way binding posts type posts. None of these speakers feature b-amping/bi-wiring.
Cabinet Type and Port Position
Both S20 and LX16 features dual binding post speaker terminals for bi-amping or bi-wiring.
