Imagine X1T features a 1" titanium with neodymium magnets Dome Tweeter and 2 x 5.25" Clay/Ceramic/Poly Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 1800Hz. On the other hand, the R-620F features a 1.0" Tweeter and 2 x 6.5" Copper-spun IMG Woofer with a Crossover frequency at 2000Hz.
Frequency Response
Imagine X1T has a frequency range of 35-23k Hz whereas R-620F has a frequency range of 38-21k Hz. With a minimum frequency of 35Hz, the Imagine X1T can go slightly deeper then the R-620F's min frequency of 38Hz.
Below graphs depict how these two speakers compare with the max, min and average values of the Min and Max Frequencies of other speakers in the Floor-standing class in our database.

None of these speakers achieves full range experience which is commonly agreed as 20Hz-20kHz. In order to achieve lower lows / deeper bass, we recommend you pair these with a subwoofer. Visit our Powered Subwoofers section to find out more about the available options.
Impedance and Sensitivity
Imagine X1T and R-620F have the same Impedance of 8 ohms but where they differ is the sensitivity levels. Imagine X1T sensitivity is rated at 90 dB and the R-620F's is at 96 dB. This 6 dB difference makes the Klipsch R-620F a more sensitive speaker compared to PSB Imagine X1T, hence will play louder with the same amount of watts.

Power Range
Power
range is the range of input power in watts RMS that a loudspeaker is designed to handle. While using an amplifier within this range ensures the nominal performance , inputting a power that is higher than the max wattage can result in a damaged speaker.
Imagine X1T can handle a max power of 200 watts RMS from the amp the whereas R-620F has a max power handling value of 100 watts RMS, 100 watts less than the Imagine X1T.
Keep in mind that a higher max power handling value doesn't necessarily make that a louder speaker
compared to a lower max handling speaker. Loudness or the sound level is also impacted by parameters
such as Impedance, sensitivity and system efficiencies.
Input Type and Bi-Amping / Bi-Wiring
Imagine X1T features 5-Way post posts which make bi-amping or bi-wiring possible. R-620F has a Post which doesn't feature bi-amping/bi-wiring.
Cabinet Type and Port Position
Imagine X1T has a front firing port whereas R-620F has a rear firing ports. PSB Imagine X1T's front-firing port gives more flexibility in placement in regards to proximity to walls compared to Klipsch R-620F with its rear-firing port.
Physical Specs
Size of a speaker can sometimes become an important decision factor due to space constraints or in some cases purely for esthetic reasons. In this section, we are going to compare PSB Imagine X1T's and Klipsch R-620F's external dimensions. PSB Imagine X1T has external dimensions of 877.0 x 210.0 x 378.0mm ( 34-1/2 x 8-1/4 x 14-7/8inch) whereas Klipsch R-620F has external dimensions of 1021.0 x 239.0 x 369.0mm ( 40-3/16 x 9-3/8 x 14-1/2inch) .
PSB Imagine X1T is 29mm narrower and 144mm shorter than Klipsch R-620F but it is also 9mm deeper.
Below you can see the front view size comparison of PSB Imagine X1T and Klipsch R-620F in scale.
Base Surface Area Comparison
Base surface area of a loudspeaker may become a determining factor when the space in your room or desk is limited.
The base surface area of the PSB Imagine X1T is approximately 793.8cm2 / 123.0inch2 and base area of the Klipsch R-620F is approximately 881.9cm2 / 136.7inch2. The Imagine X1T requires 10% less surface area than the R-620F which gives it a small advantage on placement in tight spaces.
Weight Comparison The weight of a loudspeaker can become an important factor if you need to move and reposition the unit often. Weight of a speaker can also "sometimes" be an indicator of the rigidity of the enclosure and the quality of the internal components used. The PSB Imagine X1T weighs 17.30kg / 38.1lbs and the Klipsch R-620F weighs 18.64kg / 41lbs. This makes the R-620F 8% heavier than the Imagine X1T.
Here is a comparison of how Imagine X1T and R-620F's weights compare with the average, max and min weights in Passive Floor-standing class.
